So who says you can’t teach an old dog new tricks? Well I mean i’m not old and i’m able to learn….oh well you get the point. I had the pleasure of working with a talented photographer by the name of Jonathan Keller JKeller Photo . He took the time to show me how to use strobe lighting and various lighting techniques.

Now to make things extra exciting Jonathan called in his friend Mehwish to come and model for us. Mehwish is a talented young lady and has an exotic look as the photos will show you.

We also had the pleasure of working again with the amazingly talented and creative Jalitsa. Her make-up skills are astounding and always bring a new level of creativity to the table.

So in the words of Mr T. ” No More Jibber Jabber ! ” and on to the photos.

Hello everyone!

Earlier this month some friends and myself wandered over to Roosevelt Island to see an art exhibit called the “Encampment”. Thom Sokoloski along with other artists teamed up to create a grid of tents that represent all the hardships that passed through Roosevelt Island. Visit his site to see more about the exhibit http://www.thomsokoloski.com . I was able to take some photos of the tents that were set up and I also was able to get some interesting photos of the old hospital there as well.

Sokoloski told Metro that Roosevelt Island’s past, filled with hospitals, lunatic asylum and other facilities, inspired him, “When you go deep the history is so fascinating. This will be a kind of digital archaeology, a model of exchange where the community will uncover the stories of the island’s past.” He also calls it “a metaphorical, archaeological dig into the history of mental health.”

It’s been quite sometime since my last update but I promise you it’s well worth it! I present to you one of the greatest collaborations that I’ve had the pleasure of being involved with. I had the honor of working with a great model named Angie, she’s one of the best models I’ve ever worked with. I would hands down work with her again in a heartbeat. Professional, collected, and funny…what a winning combo I’m sure the photos will tell everything.

Now you’ll see the photos and think “wow that’s some fantastic make-up!!”. That’s because it was done by the great and talented Jalitsa. She helped make this shoot possible with her skill and magical abilities with make-up. I only wish I would have worked with her sooner because she’s so fantastic.

And an extra special thanks to Dan and John, you guys have helped me come a long way and I thank you for everything you’ve done!

So this past Saturday I had the pleasure of photographing with the wonderful make-up artists of “Gorgeous On The Go”. I was hired to photograph some head shots and action shots for their promotional video. I’ve never worked with people who were so much fun. I hope to work with them again in the future. Hello everyone, I had the great pleasure of taking engagement photos for my newly engaged friends, Tommy and Rebekah. We shot at the beach Tommy asked Rebekah to be his wife. So I was bored tonight and decided it was time to add more to my portfolio. I’ve been thinking of visiting 5 Pointz for awhile to take some photos, so when I got there I saw two guys putting the final touches on a piece that was in progress since earlier that afternoon. After talking to Bruz for a few him and Paul both agreed to let me shoot. I’ll let the photos show how talented these guys are.
